Dr. Minesh Patel is a Co-Founder of Apex Family Chiropractic Center and the husband of Dr. Saggar. He earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 2003, the prestigious institution where the chiropractic profession began. Dr. Patel also holds a Bachelor of Science degree. During his time at Palmer, he received two of the college’s highest honors: the Virgil V. Strang Philosophy Award, recognizing his excellence in chiropractic philosophy, and the Clinical Excellence Award, which is nominated by supervising doctors. He is Board Certified by the Virginia Board of Medicine.
Dr. Patel was also the co-founder and former owner of the largest privately-owned chiropractic group in central Virginia, for 20 years. He spent many years mentoring and training chiropractors in the Virginia region. Dr. Patel’s commitment to service extends beyond his practice. He participated in a humanitarian clinic in Nepal, where he and a group of students provided chiropractic and basic medical care to underserved populations. He had also organized an ongoing fund-raising event for the Fort Lee Holiday Helper program, for 8 years.

I am committed to being fully transparent about their health conditions and the steps they need to take to reach their wellness goals. My goal is not only for my patients to get well but to stay well,” says Dr. Patel.
Dr. Patel and his wife, Dr. Saggar, are the proud parents of two beautiful daughters, Laila and Kaya. Dr. Patel also is President of the Old Dominion Eye Foundation, and is a bilateral corneal transplant recipient. He also sits on the Richmond Ballet Advisory Committee.
